Vincent James, along with his wife Joann, are the founders of Keep Music Alive, a national non-profit organization on a mission to help more kids and adults reap the educational, therapeutic and social benefits of playing music. To support this mission, they launched two international music holidays: Teach Music Week (March) and Kids Music Day (October). Each year, Keep Music Alive partners with over 1,000 music schools and stores around the world to offer free lessons to new students, and to hold special events that benefit children playing music.
Vincent and Joann are also authors of the “88 Ways Music Can Change Your Life” book series, featuring inspirational music stories from around the world including a number of celebrities. The most recent book in the series “88 MORE Ways Music Can Change Your Life” was published on New Years Day 2021.
Vincent is a lifelong musician/songwriter and has worked in many facets of the music business including as a songwriter, producer, band manager and concert promoter. Through his website LoveSongs.com, he has written dozens of custom songs for couples and families worldwide helping to celebrate weddings, anniversaries and other special occasions.
